The heating system can be problematic.

The cost of heating the entire cabin is extremely high -  but clearly not optional.

The most common problem is that it is too warm on the lower level and too cool upstairs.

 

We have recently installed a heating system controlled by NEST Learning Thermostats.

A schedule is set to automatically raise and lower the temperature at different times of the day - cooler at night and when folks are likely to be away i.e. skiing, warmer in the early morning and evenings.
